About Us
Anastasio Design has been owned and operated by John Anastasio since 2004. It is located in Sebastopol, CA.
John has over 20 years experience working for building departments in the San Francisco Bay Area and on the California North Coast. He is a former general building contractor, cabinet and furniture maker.
He is the former Building Official for the Town of Fairfax and the City of Belvedere and was the Senior Plans Examiner for the County of Mendocino. He began his municipal career as a Building inspector for the County of Sonoma. He has owned and lived in a passive solar house and oversaw the permitting of Real Goods' Solar Living Center in Hopland, CA.
He also well-versed in non-motorized transporation issues and served as Director of Planning for the Marin County Bicycle Coalition in 2007.

- Is Certified at AutoCAD Level II by San Francisco State University

The intention of Anastasio Design is to bring peace and harmony into the world through right design that recognizes the interconnectedness of all living things, to assist families in providing healthy, safe surroundings in which relationships can be nurtured, to participate in and provide a foundation for the construction of a healthy, sustainable future and to educate and assist others in the significance of incorporating sustainable, environmentally friendly materials in the construction of their homes and businesses.
